This program focuses on supporting students pursuing performing arts and careers in mass communications. This program is structured around 8-weeks of seminars and workshops on advancement skills, internship opportunities, and career exposure. The students learn skills from elevator pitching. office etiquette, and various career fields that meet at the intersection of the hip hop culture and mass communications/ entertainment. Each session is 60 minutes long with 15 minutes of lecturing, 30 minutes of skill application, and 15 minutes of mentoring and feedback. The students complete assessments throughout the 8 weeks to track their progress as they participate.

HG uniquely focuses on three areas of development and preparation for students (1. College and career readiness, 2. certifications, and 3. Entrepreneurship). To promote inclusive learning and heighten engagement all of our programming is student-driven based on their interests and lack of exposure to various industries. The Hustlers Guild has three programs that we provide to students

Are “TED Talk” style speakers series where we invite mentors and speakers of similar upbringing to talk about their educational paths, career journeys and give advice on how to break into their industries. Students benefit from a wide range of professionals in the public sector, private sector, and entrepreneurial paths. This program is driven by surveys that are administered to students at the beginning and the end of their cohort with the Hustlers Guild. This is a monthly 60 -minute session with 30- minute of lecturing and 20-minutes of Q&A and 10-minutes for one-on-one meet and greets.

The last program HG has is Hustler’s Drive. This program focuses on the out of classroom learning experiences for HG students. Hustler’s Drive houses the traditional and non-traditional scholarship opportunities for the Hustler’s Guild high school seniors. This program is built to offer experiences where students are able to travel to shadow professionals or attend informational at HG partner worksites. The goal of this experience is to build a pipeline and internship or entry-level job opportunities for students.

Individual members of The Hustlers Guild have been active in our respective communities for years. The organization was formed because we believed our collective voice would garner a larger social impact than continuing independently. Here's a glimpse of our reach to date.

In addition, HG trains and hosts professional development seminars for teachers and administrators on the importance of integrating a diverse and inclusive curriculum.
